During Dave’s time in the Sultan of Oman’s Airforce (SOAF), he went all out on a fancy dress outfit for a New Year’s Eve party.
Whilst many may have heard the story first hand, it has been expertly memorialised in print in Rod Dean’s book ‘Fifty Years of Flying Fun’. Rod, who flew with Dave in the RAF and whilst at SOAF Thumrait, has kindly given permission for this to be included on this site.
